Versatile harvester for both thinning and final felling

The ROTTNE H13F is built on the proven H11E platform but takes performance, comfort, and capacity to an entirely new level.

The H13F is equipped with a bogie for 26.5” wheels instead of 24.5”, resulting in a more stable machine and a clear improvement in terrain accessibility. In the 8WD configuration, the machine is extended by 250 mm, further enhancing stability and operational comfort. The increased working pressure of 280 bar combined with a 10.3-meter crane enables the H13F to handle larger harvesting heads such as the SP661 Lite or Log Max 6000V with ease.

For operators seeking maximum agility, the H13F is also available in a 6WD configuration, featuring the same compact frame as the H11E.

The tractive force has been upgraded to meet the demands of the larger machine class that the H13F now enters. For thinning operators who prefer a larger chassis, the H13F can also be combined with an 11.3-meter crane and the smaller harvesting heads currently available for the H11E.

Harvester crane RK220 specially designed for H11E & H13F

The RK220 has been designed to provide excellent forward visibility, powerful lifting capacity, and optimized crane geometry. The new low-friction slew housing, with hoses mounted underneath, not only protects the hoses but also improves operator visibility. With the optional RCA system, the experience is further enhanced through optimized extension use and end cushioning on all functions, delivering superior performance and comfort.

Advanced crane functions for maximum efficiency

The RK220 is equipped with several advanced features designed to ensure high efficiency and ease of operation:

• Powerful lifting capacity: Delivers strong lifting performance to handle even the heaviest loads with ease.
• Protected hoses: Hoses are safely mounted beneath the slew housing to minimize damage risk and improve visibility.
• Optional RCA: Enhanced performance with optimized extension use and end cushioning on all functions for increased comfort and efficiency.

  • Low ground pressure
  • Powerful forestry machine in a compact format
  • Up to 6 different harvesting heads
  • Comfort Line
  • Excellent forward visibility and improved rear visibility

POWER, TRACTION AND FLEXIBILITY

Built for productive thinning and final felling

The articulated harvester Rottne H13F combines high capacity with agile handling and is developed for both thinning and final felling operations. With large 26.5-inch wheels, upgraded tractive force of up to 200 kN and the option of either a 6-wheel or 8-wheel configuration, the machine can be adapted to different working methods and terrain conditions. The hydrostatic transmission with three gear ranges provides smooth power transfer and high performance even in demanding environments. The result is a harvester offering excellent terrain mobility, stability and efficiency throughout the entire working day.

CAB – Enhanced visibility and world-class ergonomics
The spacious and comfortable cab provides the operator with excellent visibility throughout the entire working area. On the H13F, the rear windows have been enlarged by 8 cm to improve rear visibility and increase overall awareness when working in dense forests and confined environments. The cab rotates ±90 degrees, levels 15 degrees and automatically follows the crane from side to side, while also allowing manual control via joystick.

The cab interior, electrical system, computer equipment and control functions are common across our forest machine range, which is a major advantage for operators switching between different models. Noise levels are low – in fact, our cabs are quieter than a new car. Our cabs exceed ergonomic standards for forestry machines by a wide margin.

COMFORT LINE – Smoother operation with proven suspension technology
The unique Comfort Line cab suspension system reduces shocks and impacts, making crane work and driving in rough terrain significantly smoother. Comfort Line was introduced as early as 2007 and is therefore a thoroughly proven system. Since then, it has continuously evolved with improved software, a more robust design and more precise positioning.

CONTROL SYSTEM – Intuitive systems for operation and administration
ROTTNE FORESTER is a fast and user-friendly measuring and bucking system used across all our harvesters. A large and clear touchscreen displays information in an intuitive way and makes machine settings easy to manage. The system also enables automatic generation of digital reports directly to the office, for example at the completion of a work site.

The ROTTNE machine control system, built on CANbus technology, controls and monitors the engine, transmission and crane. Machine settings and system monitoring are handled via the touchscreen, while alarms are communicated through sound and light signals along with clear on-screen messages.

CRANE – Power and flexibility with RK220 and Rottne Crane Assistance
The RK220 is designed to provide excellent forward visibility, high lifting capacity and optimal crane geometry. The H13F operates with a high hydraulic working pressure of 280 bar, enabling high productivity and allowing a choice of up to six different harvester head configurations. This gives operators the flexibility to configure the machine for anything from efficient thinning to more demanding production tasks.

With the optional Rottne Crane Assistance (RCA), crane movements are further optimized through intelligent boom extension control and end-position damping, providing an even smoother and more efficient working experience.
